These rules apply to all competitions. You should also make sure that you understand the specific rules of the competition you are entering. These are displayed at the home page of every competition.
All works must be submitted in English and be previously unpublished.
The nominated work must be the original work of the author.
Multiple entries are allowed but each entry will be accompanied by a entry fee.
The entry period will be (unless otherwise advised) one month.
Voting will occur during that month and for a period of two weeks after the close of entries.
The final judging of each competition will be carried out by a judging panel put together by World Change Now.
Any one found setting up multiple voter profiles will be banned from the website.
Any breaches of the specific and general rules will render an entry invalid and it will be withdrawn.
If any entry is incomplete, illegible or offensive it will be withdrawn. The entry fee is not refundable.
In all matters relating to the conditions of entry the decision of World Change Now.
In all matters relating to the judging of the entries, World Change Now's decision is final. No discussion or correspondence will be entered into.
Copyright or any work submitted as an entry remains with the author or copyright owner. The competitor is solely responsible for ensuring that they are the copyright owner of the entry and that submitting that entry into World Change Now does not infringe on any third parties intellectual property rights or the rights of privacy or publicity of any third parties. This includes text, data, video, photographs, data, links or any other materials or intellectual property rights associated with any entry.
By submitting the work, the owner gives World Change Now the permission to reproduce, communicate and pubish the work on the website, blog or other media for the purposes of promotion, publicity and charity.
For financial purposes all payments are made to our parent company Logicool Solutions Pty Ltd (ACN: 003 996 772) Payments are treated separately though to the parent companies other operations.
